The book is about Flippy and the 22 students. They each got 50 bucks and gave it all to a shelter for needy critters, except for two of them who said they were supposed to get more money because they were responsible. Then Flippy showed them his phone that they broke and told them to fix it, which cost them 75 bucks.

I give “Because of Winn-Dixie” 5 stars because it was an entertaining and heartwarming book. I also think the characters were well-designed in this book.
