Action packed!!!

Well written and evocative book that transports you into the characters’ world.

Beautifully written and heart wrenching

I didn’t laugh once and there was no satire.

Exit Strategy, the fourth installment in this series, was an amazing novel and had the absolute sweetest scenes (Murderbot we know you love humans, stop trying to pretend otherwise). I loved finally getting to see more personality from the original “crew” that was missing from the first book. I also just adore Murderbot in general and it has quickly grown to be one of my favorite characters of all time, and is such a relatable and complex character. Overall, this may be my favorite book in the series (although I’m partial to the second book.) and I will never stop recommending these especially to those who enjoy action and the found family trope.

I wish I could give this book four and a half stars because it wasn’t quite perfect to me but was still a super interesting and wonderful read. In addition (and in contrast) to that, I found it absolutely devastating, this book let me get too close to the new characters and ripped my heart out. I nearly cried at the end, but I still loved it, though not as much as the second book in this series (the one I just finished before this one.) Regardless, reading The Murderbot Diaries has fueled my love for reading in general and I can’t recommend it enough.

Wow, I didn’t really understand the hype around the Murderbot series from the first book, but this one was incredible! The “crew” of characters this time were way more fleshed out and likable and the setting and plot was way more fun and action packed. I definitely recommend.
